The consortium made with Siemens Mobility in 2016 became the contractor of the Bangkok Green Line metro project, where all the production processes will be undertaken by Bozankaya and after-sales services will be carried out by Siemens for 26 years.

Bozankaya, which will realize Turkey’s first metro export, will contribute to the country’s economy by providing more than 40 million Euros of foreign currency inflow to Turkey with this project. The Green Line Metro project will also be the largest export to Thailand to date. Bozankaya has invested more than 50 million Euros in Turkey’s largest and most modern rail transportation systems production center to realize all these.

Bozankaya carries out the interior design of the vehicles, adhering to Siemens’ proven design in Bangkok. In the project where components such as the traction system and bogie are supplied by Siemens, Bozankaya undertakes all the production from chassis production to static commissioning.

The first metro train produced within the scope of this project set off from Bozankaya’s rail systems production center in Ankara to the capital of Thailand, exactly 25 months after the signature.
