It is Turkey’s first trambus fleet.

The first domestic 100% electric trambus, which was first produced in 2014, was designed for Malatya Metropolitan Municipality in 2015. Malatya Project was designed as vehicles and infrastructure systems and was completed in 2 stages.

Within the scope of the first stage, 38.6 km. catenary line, 9 transformer centers and 53 stations were built and 12 24.7 meter trambuses were delivered in 2015. Within the scope of the second stage, 10 24.7 meter trambuses were delivered to Malatya Metropolitan Municipality as of May 2017. A total of 22 trambuses continue to serve in the province of Malatya.

Trambuses, whose intellectual property rights belong to Bozankaya, are the longest electric vehicles still serving on Turkish roads today.
